PETRIES

In a plot with an extreme inclination, we are creating a complex of houses, some of them being yposkafa (underground) taking advantage of this big inclination. Kythnos is known for its characteristic stone walls all over the island that split the earth in levels, giving the opportunity to the locals, to cultivate and live in her slopes.
Following this we wanted to incorporate our design into the landscape, thus creating the yposkafa, using local stone as our material of selection.
